Section 2 Upon receipt of a petition signed by one-third (1/3) of the eligible voters demanding the recall of any officer of the *General Council, it shall be the duty of the General Council to call an election on such recall petition. Partnership with Nisqually Tribe North Thurston Public Schools (NTPS) and the Nisqually Tribal Council have formed a partnership which provides a path to unity and understanding of the Native American culture. over!! Thereafter, the elections for these officers shall be held every three (3) years.Section 5 The election of Tribal Council members, under Section 4 above, shall be conducted in accordance with an election ordinance enacted by the Tribal Council. All elections shall be by secret ballot.Section 2 Absentee ballots may be allowed for any issue or election before the Tribe in accordance with an election ordinance enacted by the Tribal Council.Section 3 Incumbent members of the Tribal Council under the 1946 Constitution and Bylaws shall continue to serve in their capacities as members of the Council until replaced by the Tribal Council successors in accordance with the provisions herein.Section 4 The Tribal Council shall, following adoption of this Constitution and Bylaws and approval by the Secretary of the Interior, hold a meeting in January 1995 for the purpose of electing all the officers named herein.
